John Muir

      John Muir was a Scottish born American naturalist, who instrumented saving Yosemite Valley, and sequoia National park.  John Muir had many places named in his honor such as, Muir Beach, John Muir Trail, Mount Muir, Camp Muir, Muir College, and Muir Glacier.  John Muir was the founder of the sierra club, Which is now one of the most important conservation organizations in the United States.
